On 5 and 6 October 2019, The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta celebrated love with Golden Ballroom Love Story, an exhibition of traditional Indonesian and International wedding.

According to General Manager, Fintan O’Doherty, “It’s the first wedding exhibition ever held in our newly opened and the most shopisticated ballroom in town.” The theme Golden Ballroom Love Story was chosen because it represents the property’s authenticity.

“The theme is in line with Indonesian traditional and International weddings that we highlight in this exhibition,” Fintan continued. According to Fintan, in the past a year since the new Golden Ballroom opened on July 2018, demand for weddings has increased dramatically. “Currently, about 90 per cent of weddings held at our establishments are Indonesian traditional weddings. In response, we are aiming to have more diverse theme of weddings like international, Chinese even Indian weddings,” Fintan added.

There were around 50 wedding vendors at the exhibition.

For the exhibition, the hotel partnered with wedding organizer, Akuwedding. There were around 50 wedding vendors at the exhibition, including bridal houses, photographers, wedding decorators, prewedding photo service, invitation printing, jewelery, medical clinic providers and many more.
