What if your next running outfit was also your sleepwear? Ascott Indonesia, part of The Ascott Limited (Ascott), is giving the humble pair of pyjamas a new job, inviting runners to head to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah on 13 December for PajamASRun 2026, a playful outing that combines running with games and community activities.
Returning for its second edition, the event will take place at Plaza Selatan, with more than 1,500 people expected to take part. Three categories offer different ways to join in: the 3K Family Run, 5K Fun Run and 8K Fun Run. Families can opt for the shorter distance, friends can make a day of the 5K, while those looking for a bigger personal challenge can take on the 8K.
The pyjamas, naturally, are part of the fun. PajamASRun takes inspiration from the comfort associated with Ascott’s hospitality and carries that idea into its dress code. Runners are encouraged to wear their favourite sleepwear, with special recognition for the most creative costumes.
“Following the positive response from last year’s inaugural event, we are excited to bring PajamASRun back with more opportunities for families, communities and recreational runners to participate,” said Philip Barnes, Country General Manager, The Ascott Limited Indonesia. “Through a choice of race categories and our signature pajama theme, we hope to create an experience that is fun, inclusive and memorable.”
Crossing the finish line is not quite the end of the day. The event village will continue with live performances, games and community activities, giving everyone a chance to stay and enjoy the atmosphere. All registered participants will also receive an exclusive race pack and finisher medal, along with admission to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah.
PajamASRun is part of Ascott Indonesia’s annual programmes and also reflects the experience-led ethos of Ascott Star Rewards (ASR), the company’s loyalty programme.
