As part of observances for Ramadan this month, Royal Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta serves up a special menu for both sahur and iftar in three different venues, each featuring a unique culinary programme.

The Royal Restaurant will be transformed to be Ramadhan Village, offering an all-you-can-eat iftar buffet with wide array of Middle Eastern selections, Indonesian cuisine and Asian delights. The best buffet in town to break one’s fast, Ramadhan Village will be offered everyday during the period and will feature 45 dishes.

Shawarma, Lontong Medan, Roast Beef with Herbs, Fattoush Salad, Salata Arabieh, Rujak Cingur are among the iftar dishes available at the restaurant.  Guests  may also choose from Baked Fish Harrira, Beef Kofta, Tengiri Asam Padeh, and Pepes Ikan Tahu Kemangi. Many selection of the desserts also could be the perfect ta’jil such as Barbousa, Katayef Asafiri, Aneka Es Campur, Bahlousa and more to names

The Ramadhan buffet at the Royal Restaurant can be enjoyed for IDR 135,000 nett per person. The special offer “PAY 4 DINE 5” is perfect for those looking to celebrate with family, friends and colleagues.

At Kampung Djawi, the guest could indulge authentic javanese cuisine thoughout Ramadhan. 

For those who love authentic Javanese and Indonesian food, there is the all-you-can-eat food stalls style set up at Kampoeng Djawi at the 18th century heritage site Pendopo Agung Ambarrukmo. During Ramadhan, authentic Japanese cuisine will be served at the 200 year-old heritage site, Pendopo Agung Ambarrukmo.

The age-old recipes for Selat Usar, Brambang Asem, Aneka Penyetan, Sambal Korek, Sambal Kencur, Tongseng, and Lontong Sate Singgang Ayam will be the top highlight on the food stalls. The herited special King’s desserts Manuk Enom Ambarrukmo, Tapak Kucing and even fresh ripped Blewah are also available for the guest throughout the holy month.

At  IDR 99, 000 nett per person, diners can experience all the variants all-you-can-eat live cooking and enjoy a live music performance too.

A platter of starters to break the fast is also prepared by the culinary team of Royal Ambarrukmo Yogyakarta at hotel’s coffee shop, Punika Deli. Here, diners who are observing the fast can mark the end of the fasting hours by enjoying warm premium tea, sweet porridge, traditional sweet ice, dates and dried fruit and a sampling of deep fried snacks at IDR 40.000 nett per portion.
