The fifth edition of The Color Run Indonesia will be held again this year, on 16 September. Starting off from Gelora Bung Karno Jakarta, this year’s running event aims to promote a healthy lifestyle. The theme this year is “Hero Tour”.
Organised by CIMB Niaga, The Color Run Indonesia has been promoting fitness in the urban community with its 5 km running competition. Participants throw color powder, a practice taken from the Indian spring festival, Holi.
Color Run booths this year include Kejar Mimpi, CIMB Niaga Namaste Festival, CIMB Niaga Auto Finance (CNAF), and various CIMB Niaga products.
In addition to the running competition, CIMB Niaga will feature a conversation about staying motivated with Indonesian swimmer legend Richard Sambera and actor Sandra Dewi, who is also an activist for sports lifesyle and CIMB Niaga brand ambassador.
Lani Darmawan, CIMB Niaga's Consumer Banking Director, in a press release noted that the event aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle for all.
"CIMB Niaga is very enthusiastic about campaigning for a healthy lifestyle. The Color Run can be enjoyed by all people of all ages and fitness levels. It is fun and can be followed by all family members. We hope that this event could inspire people to start implementing a healthy lifestyle," Lani said.
