Indonesia’s fashion industry is gearing up for its most anticipated annual event: Jakarta Fashion Week 2026, returning for its 18th edition from 27 October to 2 November 2025, at Pondok Indah Mall 3.
More than just a fashion event, JFW 2026 carries “The Legacy of Style” – celebrating the nation’s rich cultural heritage and the spirits within Indonesia’s fashion industry, while also serving as an educational and collaborative platform. Its commitment is embodied through initiatives like Fashionlink, DEWI’s Luxe Market, Fashion Force Awards, the Center Stage discussion forum, and the DEWI Fashion Knights show.
The official announcement was made during the Kick-off Press Conference held on 21 October 2025, at Osteria GIA, Pondok Indah Mall 2, Jakarta.

The annual Jakarta Fashion Week marks the culmination of numerous fashion initiatives held throughout the year. Since its inception, JFW has been committed to bridging designers, creative industries, and international markets. Strategic partnerships have also been established with key stakeholders who continue to contribute to the growth of the fashion ecosystem.
Government and international partners also play an important role in this year’s event, including the Provincial Government of Central Kalimantan, the Ministry of Tourism, and international collaborators such as TRANOÏ, KOCCA, CFDK, Accademia Costume & Moda, and Istituto Europeo di Design.

“This year, Jakarta Fashion Week highlights the meaning of style as a form of cultural identity and expression. Through the works of both emerging and established designers, we want to reaffirm that style is not just about fleeting trends, it is a living legacy of values, character, and artistry. As a platform that connects Indonesia with the world, we aim to showcase that Indonesian fashion has strong roots and a modern vision. The Legacy of Style is a tribute to both tradition and innovation,” said Svida Alisjahbana, CEO of GCM Group and JFW Chairwoman.
“Jakarta Fashion Week has become Indonesia’s most influential fashion event, presenting the finest creations of national designers and fashion labels. As a space for creativity and innovation, JFW acts as a strategic platform for collaboration among fashion, creative, and business players, shaping the direction of Indonesia’s fashion evolution. Each edition not only celebrates trends and aesthetics but also promotes growth, sustainability, and the strengthening of Indonesian fashion’s global identity,” said Andandika Surasetja, JFW Creative Director.
