Bogor, West Java, welcomes a brand new championship golf course with the recent opening of Trump International Golf Club Lido. The state-of-the-art course designed by legendary golfer, Ernie Els, is found approximately 700-metres above sea level, with panoramic views of Mount Salak, Mount Pangrango, and Mount Gede.
Opened on 7 March 2025, Trump International Golf Club Lido is a joint venture with MNC Land, located within the MNC Lido City Special Economic Zone (SEZ) – a 3,000ha tourism SEZ (the first in Greater Jakarta) inaugurated by President Joko Widodo, 1,040ha of which are managed by MNC Land.
The 18-hole golf course stretches 7,200 yards, brought to life by Greg Letsche, Senior Designer for Ernie Els Golf Design, it has been designed to challenge experienced golfers whilst remaining accessible to newcomers. The course is surrounded by beautiful West Javan countryside, straddling valleys, forests and rice fields, taking full advantage of Indonesia’s fabulous natural environment. Players will certainly welcome the cool, crisp mountain air and majestic backdrop of volcanoes.
Each hole promises a distinctive playing encounter, presenting an array of challenges that include gracefully flowing water bodies, dramatic ravines and strategically placed bunkers.
The soon-to-be opened clubhouse will be a palatial 33,000 square metres, designed by Oppenheim Architects, featuring a blend of Roman classic and contemporary design. Accommodations are planned for the clubhouse, as is a 330 square metre pro shop and several restaurants. Trump International Golf Club Lido also has a 330-metre grass driving range featuring multiple practice greens.
General Manager Steven Thielke highlighted the expertise behind the project, crediting Golf Course Superintendent Michael Pascoe, Senior Designer Greg Letsche of Ernie Els Golf Design, and Dustin Jennings from Golfcon Asia for their roles in creating this brand new international facility.
Trump Golf Lido is currently only available to members and their guests. Private tours can be arranged.
