An Ubud institution, Bali Adventure Tours (BAT) keeps on evolving, adding new, exciting programs and establishments for both residents and visitors to Bali to indulge and have fun on the island’s hilly region. BAT has just recently added three new products to its portfolio: Mason Gourmet Chocolate factory and showroom, Mason Jungle Buggies, and Koko Bambu Restaurant.

Mason Gourmet Chocolate factory is a state-of-the-art modernized chocolate making facility using only the latest technology and the finest Indonesian-grown cocoa beans to create delicious, high quality chocolate treats. The range of chocolate that is currently available runs into over 60 types, and will eventually include many more, plus a range of chocolate bars with delicious and unusual fillings. The chocolate factory is part of an enormous bamboo restaurant, Koko Bambu, which sits between the main road and rice fields below, with views to the Bedugul hills.

At the same location, Mason Jungle Buggies was launched, with Nigel and Yanie Mason’s two sons, Jian and Shan, supervised excited guests who came to the opening with rides on the new purpose-built jungle trail that winds through kilometres of twisting and turning challenging tracks.

The final highlight of the day was when Alistair Speirs, chairman of The World’s Most Valued Business Indonesia presented Nigel Mason with the first award for membership to BAT for “Indonesia’s Most Valued Business 2017” for the following values: Sustainability, Best Possible Business Practices, Ethical Employment, Safety and Security, Customer Service and Respect, Environmental Friendliness, and Corporate Values.
