The Chiefs 2025: Monocle Business Conference

This 23 and 24 April 2025, global media company Monocle will stage their annual business gather, The Chiefs 2025, at the ballroom of 25hours Hotel Jakarta The Oddbird. In partnership with Agung Sedayu Realestat Indonesia (ASRI), the conference invites global and local business leaders to learn and network, featuring keynote speakers from industry experts hand-picked by Monocle.

The Chiefs is Moncole’s flagship event where leaders and innovators across industries gather together to discuss the future of business, share strategies, and forecast trends. Previous successful editions were held in iconic locations such as Dallas, St. Moritz, and Hong Kong.

This April, ASRI is proud to play an important role in bringing The Chiefs to Jakarta for the event’s first-ever appearance in Southeast Asia. Having built and designed some of Jakarta’s most impactful and innovative new spaces, from District 8 to Menara Jakarta, the group’s mission is to solidify Jakarta’s reputation as a global destination.

Led by Tyler Brûlé, Andrew Tuck and Monocle’s editors, participants will hear the media company’s take on industry trends for 2025, and learn about the latest opportunities and challenges across Southeast Asia and beyond. Guest speakers include top CEOs and founders on their business successes, and be introduced to next-gen speakers. Of course, another highlight will be the opportunity to connect with Monocle’s engaged community of more than 100 international business leaders, and to spend time with Monocle’s editors.

The conference includes a welcome cocktail reception on Wednesday, 23 April, followed by a full-day conference, lunch and dinner on Thursday, 24 April.
