The Westin Jakarta brings a taste of India’s rich culinary history to Jakarta to its all-day dining restaurant Seasonal Tastes. Chef Nanda Singh Dhami is in town this month to dish up a range of Indian favourites through the “Flavours of India” special throughout March.

Based at the JW Marriott Mumbai, Chef Nandan Singh Dhami this month takes over the kitchens at Seasonal Tastes in collaboration with the restaurant’s resident chef— and Iron Chef contest winner—Denny Boy Gunawan.   

The restaurant features live cooking stations and Indian-themed entertainment. Chef Dhami’s creations include Mushroom Cheese Kurkure, Til Wale Aloo, Goan Fish Curry, Prawn Masala, Malai Kofta, and Paneer Tikka Masala. Bread-based dishes such as Kathi Roll and Malbar Parotta are prepared at the live stations.

Part of Marriott International, The Westin Jakarta collaborated with the Embassy of India to hold the special dining experience with distinguished guest Ambassador of India, H.E. Pradeep Kumar Rawat.

Arun Kumar, General Manager of The Westin Jakarta spoke about the long relationship between Indonesia and India which has also influenced some of the culinary culture in this country.

The Flavours of India special is on until 23 March and is available as a buffet meal at both lunch and dinner. Prices range from IDR 388.000 – IDR 438.000 per person.
