The German Reunification Cup 2016, an annual charity golf tournament established in 2002, was held in Jakarta this October. Organized by the German Embassy Jakarta and PT Schenker Petrolog Utama for the fourth time, it took place at the Rancamaya Golf and Country Club in Bogor.
144 players and 76 sponsors participated in the tournament to raise funds in the amount of IDR 120,000,000 – all of which was donated to Yayasan Sinar Pelangi, a foundation providing treatment and surgery for underprivileged children with physical deformations.
This year’s Best Gross German winner was Francis Dehnhardt, while Evan Andreas was able to clinch the title for Man Best Gross Overall for the second time in a row. Tomoko Imada led the women’s field by winning in the Woman Best Gross Overall category.
