This December 24, the Main Stage of Taman Ismail Marzuki Besar Theatre will host a celebration of art, music, and light: The New Year Program: Ballet Soundtrack Show.
Produced by FreedBallet, an international ballet project, world-class ballet and a live symphony orchestra return to Jakarta with the powerful and emotional movie soundtracks of Hans Zimmer and other great composers.
This year, the founders themselves – Vitally and Ameli Amialishka, graduates of the renowned Vaganova Academy in Saint Petersburg and former soloists of the Mariinsky Theatre – will perform on stage in Jakarta, joined by guest stars from the Mariinsky Theatre, the Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus, and leading stages across Europe.
The performance features breathtaking choreography set to the unforgettable music from Interstellar, Pirates of the Caribbean, Avatar, Harry Potter, Gladiator, The Nutcracker, and more. Each score transforms into a vivid story told through movement, emotion, and live sound in a seamless fusion of ballet, cinema, and symphonic power.
