Sinarmas World Academy (SWA) celebrated its 18th anniversary on 3 November, as a testament to a vision for excellent student education having developed into a beacon of creative global mindedness.
For close to 2 decades now, SWA has been the launchpad where ideas are born, nurtured, and brought to life; empowering students to lead with purpose and create impact in the world. Its extraordinary success through its achievements speak for themselves.
Academically, SWA keeps hitting high, with last year’s graduating class achieving an IBDP score of 44 out of 45 points. In 2025, it became the first and sole Indonesian school to be recognised among the world’s top IB schools, while having secured an outstanding global ranking of 33rd with an impressive average IB score of 38.2 – based on the latest IB results published by Education Advisers.
SWA has also a record of launching graduates to the world’s top universities, including Harvard University, University of Oxford, Seoul National University, National Tsing Hua University, etc. Powered by BEST Pathways®, students have also achieved great success in global competitions, most notably winning 1st place in the Future Innovator Junior category at the 2024 World Robot Olympiad in Izmir, Turkey.
