The 26th Jakarta International Handicraft Trade Fair (INACRAFT) is set to return to the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC), Senayan, from 4 to 8 February 2026, bringing together artisans, designers, buyers, and industry players for five days of exhibitions centred on Indonesia’s craft sector and the growing influence of women-led enterprises.
Now in its twenty-sixth year, INACRAFT continues to cement its place as a key meeting point for Indonesia’s creative economy. The fair arrives at a moment when handicrafts are increasingly recognised as viable drivers of small and medium-scale businesses. This year’s theme, “Exploring and Celebrating Womenpreneurs in Craft,” places the spotlight on women artisans and entrepreneurs who have shaped production, distribution, and innovation across the sector, often operating at the intersection of tradition and modern commerce.
The focus reflects a broader shift within Indonesia’s creative industries, where women play a central role in sustaining craft communities while expanding their reach to domestic and international markets. Through this theme, INACRAFT aims to provide visibility, commercial opportunities, and professional networks for women-led businesses, while encouraging wider recognition of their contribution to economic resilience and cultural continuity.
Running daily from 10 am – 9 pm, the main exhibition will feature a wide range of handicraft products, from textiles and fashion accessories to home décor, jewellery, and functional design objects. Visitors can expect to encounter regional crafts from across the archipelago, alongside contemporary interpretations by emerging designers and established producers. The exhibition format is designed to facilitate both retail and business-to-business engagement, making it relevant to individual consumers as well as international buyers and distributors.
INACRAFT 2026 is organised by the Association of Indonesian Handicraft Exporters and Producers (ASEPHI) in collaboration with Mediatama Events. Together, the two organisations frame the fair as a strategic platform to strengthen the competitiveness of Indonesian handicrafts in global markets, while maintaining a focus on sustainability, fair trade practices, and long-term industry development.
With participation expected from both local and overseas stakeholders, the event also functions as a gateway for cultural exchange. It offers visitors a chance to see how Indonesian craft traditions adapt to changing tastes, technologies, and market demands, without losing their roots in local materials and techniques.
Entrance ticket is priced at IDR 35,000 per person, to purchase visit @weareinacraft on Instagram.
