The kitchens of Chiang Mai are coming to Jakarta this April. Gran Meliá Jakarta, in collaboration with Meliá Chiang Mai, will present a weeklong dinner buffet at Café Gran Via from 20 to 25 April 2026. Guests will be introduced to northern Thai flavors prepared with refinement, offering a direct taste of Thailand’s culinary heritage in a setting designed for exploration.

The collaboration is designed to be vibrant and approachable, celebrating the hallmarks of Thai cuisine — strong flavors with balanced touch. Gran Meliá Jakarta’s chefs add their own refinement, presenting each dish with a contemporary touch while keeping the essence intact.

Expect signatures from Meliá Chiang Mai such as Pad Thai, Soft Shell Crab with Pomelo Salad, and Steamed Mantou. Drinks are part of the journey too: Thai Milk Tea, Fresh Young Coconut, and the Meliá Chiang Mai Blossom mocktail, alongside cocktails like Muay Thai Punch and Tom Yum Martini, all crafted to capture Thailand’s lively spirit.

The experience doesn’t end with the buffet week. From 26 April to 20 May 2026, selected dishes will continue as à la carte offerings across chosen venues and through In‑Room Dining, giving guests the chance to enjoy this Thai journey at their own pace. With this initiative, Gran Meliá Jakarta strengthens its role as a destination for global flavors and inspired collaborations.
