Thai cosmetics brand Giffarine was established 23 years ago and has a strong following in its home country. Now, the brand plans to expand to Indonesia.

Giffarine officially launched its skincare and make up product series in Indonesia. A range of products which use fruit as its base are available in three product categories. Innovia Soft Matte Liquid Colour is a lip tint in five shades: red, brownish red, pink, dark brown and peach. It’s a combination of ceramide and shea butter that moisturises lips while keeping its natural look.

In the skin care line, Giffarine brings its signature Astaxanthin Age-Defying Facial Cream and Astaxanthin Age-Defying Intensive Serum, anti-aging products with benefits of Astaxanthing, an antioxidant that has been proven 40 times stronger in counteracting free radicals and helps to overcome various skin problems, and helps increase elasticity and prevents the appearance of black spots and provides additional protection against UV rays.

Fluid Facial Treatment Essence helps moisturise and restore the natural glow of the skin, smooth pores as well as enrich it with various extracts of natural ingredients including pomegranate, witch hazel, spirulina and chamomile which are safe for those who have sensitive skin.

“Giffarine is being introduced in Indonesia because of the similarity in skin types here and in Thailand, so we expect optimal benefit,” said President Director of Giffarine Indonesia, Thomas Johnson.

Even so, Thomas also said that the company had made a selection of products, both make up and skin care which were considered most suitable for Indonesians.
