ARYADUTA Hotels Group has been named Indonesia’s Leading Hotel Group at the World Travel Awards 2026, retaining the title it secured in 2025. The consecutive win comes as the Indonesian hospitality group prepares for its next phase of growth, including the rejuvenation of existing properties and plans for new luxury hotels and resorts in several destinations.
Established in 1976, ARYADUTA has spent five decades developing its presence in Indonesia’s hospitality sector. Its current portfolio comprises 10 upscale hotels and resorts, complemented by five leisure units covering golf and lifestyle experiences.
The latest World Travel Awards title comes as that portfolio enters another round of development. Existing properties are being refreshed, while new projects are taking shape, including luxury hotels in Jakarta and resorts planned for Ubud and Labuan Bajo.
These plans respond to a hospitality market that continues to evolve alongside domestic travel, international tourism and changing expectations among hotel guests. For ARYADUTA, that means maintaining an established Indonesian identity while updating its properties, services and guest experiences for a new generation of travellers.
The approach is reflected in the Group’s philosophy, “Iconically Indonesian, Globally Inspired,” which informs how ARYADUTA positions its hotels within their respective destinations. Rather than applying one format to every property, the Group draws on Indonesian hospitality while incorporating international influences relevant to contemporary upscale travel.
The 2026 award also recognises the work of ARYADUTA’s teams and the continued support of its guests, partners and stakeholders. Securing the title for a second consecutive year gives the Group another benchmark as it moves ahead with both renovation and expansion.
For ARYADUTA, the recognition marks a significant point in its 50-year history while directing attention firmly towards what comes next. With new properties planned and existing hotels undergoing renewal, the Group is positioning its next chapter around a broader national portfolio and a continued evolution of its Indonesian hospitality identity.
