Celebrating the rich legacy of the indigenous batik cloth, the Ayodya Resort Bali in Nusa Dua is hosting the Ayodya Batik Festival 2018 this 26 – 28 October at the resort’s Grand Ballroom.

The 3-day event will focus on the finest batiks produced in Solo (Central Java) and Yogyakarta, as well as Bali. Held in conjunction with the festival’s public exhibition will be two gala fashion show dinners on set for October 27 and 28.

26 October: The Opening Ceremony will be held in the Grand Ballroom, opening by Tjok Abi the epic Balinese designer, known for his theatrical moments.

27 October: A Gala Dinner and Fashion show will be held showcasing the creations of Afif Shakur, Dwi Iskandar, Uluwatu and KEKEAN Wastra Gallery. The Gala Dinner commences in the Ballroom at 6pm with a 6-course Gala Dinner Set Menu accompanied by the music of Gus Tedja, and Diana Rosa and The Band. The Gala Dinner is sold at IDR 2,500,000 net per person, including free flow beverage throughout the evening).

28 October: The festival draws to a close with a fashion show featuring KCBI (Komunitas Cinta Berkain Indonesia) Denpasar starting at 7 pm in the Grand Ballroom with a buffet dinner and fashion show. Jro Puspa, Designers Mila Clothing and Riesna Dewi will present batik their Batik traditions. In addition, the Friend’s Band will provide music during the evening. The Buffet Dinner and the fashion is sold at only IDR 350,000 net per person with a cash bar available.

The exhibition, open to the public without charge, is available in the Grand Ballroom throughout the three days from 10am until 10pm.
