On Sunday, 15 October 2023, Marriott International in Jakarta will hold its annual ‘Road to Give’ charity event, a fun run and walk raising money for an important local organisation, Scholars of Sustenance Indonesia.

Road to Give 2023 invites runners, walkers, families and groups to come out together and join this active event raising funds for charity. This year, Road to Give presents two categories: a 6km Fun Run and 3.5km Family Fun Walk. These start at 6am onwards at Sari Pan Pacific Jakarta, Autograph Collection, aiming to have 2,000 participants getting involved and taking part!

The event is a testament to Marriott International’s core value, “Putting People First”, which encourages their brands around the world to find ways to give back to their community. This year’s event is raising funds for Scholars of Sustenance (SOS) Indonesia, a foundation dedicated to minimising food waste and whilst simultaneously providing nutritional support to those in need. The funds raised from Road to Give 2023 will go directly towards SOS Indonesia in their efforts to rescue and redistribute food.
