The German School Jakarta, as a non-profit foundation, is officially recognised by the German Government as an “excellent German school abroad”. It is financially supported and its quality regularly reviewed by the German educational authorities. The “Deutsche Schule Jakarta“ (DSJ) originally started operations in Bandung in 1957, then rellocated to Bumi Serpong Damai in 1998.
