For more than two decades, INACRAFT has stood as the region’s benchmark for Indonesia’s craft industry, drawing artisans, collectors, and buyers from across the globe. Now, its younger sibling also known as INACRAFT October, returns for its fourth edition in 2025 with a fresh theme: “Craft, Culture, Future.” Designed as more than just an extension of the original fair, this edition sets itself apart with a sharper focus on youth, innovation, and the evolving craft economy.

At the heart of the programme are the YOUTHPRENEURS, a new wave of young creative entrepreneurs who bring with them talent and a sense of daring and reinvention. Their presence is amplified by a carefully zoned exhibition layout that mirrors the rhythm of modern craft culture, so expect a vibrant, experimental, and refreshingly bold style. From textiles reimagined with contemporary patterns to ceramics shaped with sleek urban sensibilities, the selections are proof that Indonesia’s craft tradition is evolving in real time.

Complementing the showcase is the Insight Programme, a series of supporting events tailored especially for Gen-Z audiences. Here, craft is treated as an interactive field of exploration. Panel discussions, workshops, and networking spaces encourage young visitors to engage with art and design as a viable career and business path, creating connections that reach beyond the exhibition floor.

The October edition also holds a strategic role: keeping INACRAFT loyalists engaged throughout the year while creating an additional platform for small and medium-sized craft enterprises. In doing so, it strengthens the economic ecosystem around handmade goods, weaving together tradition, contemporary culture, and market relevance.

Since its inception in 1999, INACRAFT has evolved from a prestigious exhibition into a cultural institution. With INACRAFT October, it proves once more that craft can be fun and innovative while preserving heritage and igniting the entrepreneurial spirit of Indonesia’s youth.
