Three chefs. Two nights. One unforgettable journey. As part of its Italian Affair culinary series, Alto Restaurant & Bar at Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta will host a special collaboration dinner by three acclaimed Italian chefs. The penthouse restaurant welcomes Michelin-starred Chef Alessandro Bellingeri from Osteria Acquarol in Italy, for an exclusive six-hands dining experience on 17 and 18 May 2024.

Born in Cremona before moving to Trentino and then South Tyrol, Chef Alessandro Bellingeri grew up among the most exciting kitchens in Italy. He is the owner-chef of Osteria Acquarol, a Michelin-starred restaurant located in the stunning village of San Michele. Drawing inspiration from the culinary traditions and fresh ingredients of South Tyrol, his second home, Chef Alessandro reinterprets traditional regional dishes using modern techniques. He has collaborated with some of Italy’s esteemed culinary talents, including three Michelin-starred chefs Enrico Crippa and Massimo Bottura, enriching his culinary expertise along the way.

Chef Alessandro joins the Hotel’s own powerhouse Italian duo, Executive Chef Marco Violano and Executive Pastry Chef Lorenzo Sollecito, to unveil a selection of soulful specialities. Combining their talents, the trio will craft sumptuous dishes tracing a route from north to south Italy, showcasing the finest regional flavours from South Tyrol to Lazio. Guests will also have the chance to enjoy signature creations from Osteria Acquarol, including Carbonara di Lago and the beloved dessert Nocciola.

“I’m delighted to welcome Chef Alessandro to Alto. We’ve been friends for more than 20 years, ever since we worked together at Four Seasons Hotel London, so this collaboration has been a long time in the making,” shares Chef Marco. “We’re very excited to take our guests on an Italian journey that will not only captivate their senses but also touch their souls.”

The culinary offerings are complemented by wine pairings from Barbanera, the award-winning winery in Italy. Special guest Agnese Barbanera will introduce curated wines from the family-run estate, carefully chosen to elevate each meticulously crafted dish.
