As Indonesia’s largest illustration art platform, JICAF continues to break new ground by connecting artists, collectors, art lovers, and stakeholders in the creative industry. Last year, JICAF 2024 carried the theme of Chaotic City, capturing the dynamics and energy of urban life, while JICAF 2025 takes a new direction with an emphasis on inclusivity, experimentation, and boldness. Visitors can look forward to new experiences through participatory art programs, B2B networking & matchmaking, and artist fan meet & signings.

This year, JICAF recorded an extraordinary surge in enthusiasm with 764 submissions from 25 countries, a 41% increase compared to last year that reinforces JICAF’s position as an increasingly recognised stage for visual artists at the international level.

JICAF 2025 introduces a cross-industry board of curators, including artists and gallerists along with figures from music, film, and leading creative industries. Names like Isyana Sarasvati (musician), Sheila Dara (actress), Ferry Dermawan (Plainsong Live), Devi Attamimi (Hakuhodo International), Angel Lukito (Exsport), and visual creator Ardhira Putra contribute to shaping the JICAF 2025 experience as not just about visual works but also bridging music, film, literature and brand communication.

In addition to signature programs such as Supermarket for Artworks, Exclusive Art Drop, and Live Art Experience, JICAF 2025 introduces new initiatives to expand the public’s art experience, like JICAF Talks Podcast, Trinket Island and Toyzone. One of this year’s highlights is JICAF’s collaboration with Tab Space Studio, a neurodiverse art studio, which offers a bolder and fresher curation while opening an inclusive art space for diverse voices, perspectives, and creative expressions.

Moreover, at JICAF 2025, BCA offers attractive promotions for loyal customers, including Buy 1 Get 2 ticket, ART Deal Tuesday, and IDR 50,000 cashback for every minimum transaction of Rp500,000 using QRIS myBCA/BCA Mobile/Sakuku (25 redemptions/day).

Now firmly positioned as Asia’s illustration art hub, JICAF has active networks with art fairs in Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand, and is expanding into Taiwan and China. With the participation of international artists from various countries, JICAF 2025 has truly become a global stage connecting talent, brands, and creative communities across borders.

Co-Founder and Fair Director Sunny Gho said, “JICAF was born to empower Indonesian illustrators to enrich global art & culture. This year, we step into a new chapter with the spirit of New Heights, presenting fresher, more inclusive & interactive programs.” He added, “The collaboration with Tab Space Studio is an important step for us. With the spirit of inclusivity, we want to show that art is a universal language that can be accessed, felt & enjoyed by everyone.”
