The Ritz Carlton Pacific Place will present “Italian Connection” on December 14th to mark its last wine dinner event this year. Pacific Restaurant and Lounge on the sixth floor will welcome guests to taste and celebrate the unique authenticity of Italian dishes as well as Italian wine.

Making an Italian Connection (3)

The hotel proudly welcomes back Sergio Zingarelli, the president of Italy’s oldest wine consortium, Chianti Classico Wine Consortium and owner of the renowned Chianti winery Rocca Delle Macie. The hotel will also invite Nicola Russo, Chef de Cuisine II Ristorante at Bulgari Resort Bali.

Making an Italian Connection (1)

Chef Nicola will prepare classic Italian dishes, carefully paired with an extensive list of wines from Rocca Delle Macie. As starter, Chef Nicola will serve healthy Aspiragi, raw and cooked asparagus with lemon goat cheese, crispy kale, porcini mushroom soil, paired with Orvieto Classico wine. This will be followed by Polpo (octopus, chick peas, lemon, fermented black garlic) paired with Chianti Classico Riserva; he will then prepare Agnolotti (beef agnolotti, parmigiano reggiano cheese) paired with Gran Selezione Sergio Zingarelli, and Manzo (chargrilled wagyu beef sirloin, artichokes, truffle potato croquette) paired with PietraPura Cotis. As dessert, guests can enjoy the chef's Cioccolato (valrhona chocolate semifreddo, hazelnuts, fleur de sel, olive oil ice cream) paired with PietraPura Dolceluna, a wine with original grapes and without sweeteners.
