NSNTR-Mercure-Pik

The highest restaurant in Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) is heading in a new direction and has unveiled its new concept: French Bistro. Located on the 8th floor of Mercure Jakarta PIK, the previously Indonesian-focused ‘NSNTR’ restaurant makes an exciting turn to present guests with servings of French cuisine.

Every nook and cranny of the restaurant will change to reflect this new direction, and guests will be greeted instantly with the French elegance and style with decors that takes you into a quintessential Parisian café.

On 28 February 2023, the NSNTR culinary team hosted a Four Hands Dinner with Chef Simon Baudoin of Apero Café in Bandung, collaborating with Executive Chef Edi Pancamala. The two chefs curated an intricate menu highlighting signature French cuisine. Guests enjoyed a journey through these dishes from the Apero Platter, Gindara a la Bordelaise, Confit de Poulet Croustillant, Trilogy en Croute and finishing off with the refreshing and sweet Berries Mille-feuille.

Sean Halpin, the Cluster General Manager of Swissôtel Jakarta PIK Avenue and Mercure Jakarta Pantai Indah Kapuk, explained the reason behind choosing the new concept of French Bistro is caused by the scarcity of French bistros around the area of PIK, making it the first that will open there. By taking this new direction, it is also hoped that it will catch new interest from visitors.

Guests that come here for their French dishes cravings can also stay longer for NSNTR’s nighttime bar experience, brought to another level with the presence of the poolside atmosphere, outdoor water fountain view, as well as live music on certain occasion.
