On 27 July, Western restaurant Up In Smoke located in RDTX Tower, Kuningan, held a beer drinking event called The Beer Olympics during the day.
The purpose of this event was to bring people together by competing in several different fun beer drinking games such as Beer Shotgun, Beer Pong, Cornhole, Flip Cup, Chuggalug and Boat Race.
Each team was judged by their times and then their total number of points during each of the game rounds. Of course, Up In Smoke took precautionary measures and had prepared an emergency team on standby as more than 200 people gathered that day. The event consisted of both participants and spectators, with a total of 10 competing teams. Bengkel Unicorns earned the winning title of the first ever Beer Olympics.
With the support of Bali Hai and Beervana, this event will soon become a tradition for avid beer drinkers around the city of Jakarta. Their next plan is to create another event around December called the Winter Beer Olympics. Bengkel Unicorns, being the winner of this event, is automatically included to defend their title for this upcoming year-end event.
