Taman Safari Indonesia has officially opened its newest tourist destination, Enchanting Valley, a Recreation, Dining, and Entertainment (RDE) area located in Megamendung, Puncak – Bogor that combines nature, adventure, music, and cuisine across a 22-hectare area.
The inauguration was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Regent of Bogor, Rudi Susmanto, S.Si, together with officials from the Bogor Regency Tourism and Culture Office, and was also attended by the Board of Directors of Taman Safari Indonesia.
During the grand opening, Enchanting Valley also introduced its latest attraction, the Bumble Boat, a thrilling water ride designed specifically to provide families with an unforgettable adventurous experience. Additionally, visitors will be treated to new performances at the Plaza Carnival area, further enriching the variety of entertainment in the region.
The venue features three cafes, two culinary zones, three shows, and five rides that promise a fun holiday experience. Its main attractions include LILA & The Magical Forest Show, an international-standard outdoor musical theatre with spectacular visuals and music; the Angklung Show, where visitors can learn and play the angklung with a waterfall backdrop; and Lila’s Magical World, an interactive petting zoo that also features educational animal activities.
For adventure lovers, there are rides such as Super Wheels – a 1.5 km long classic car track, Nets Play trampoline nets, Plaza Carnival with seven exciting games, The Playground with an animal theme, and The Pavilion, a relaxing area with snack vendors. On the culinary side, visitors can eat at Amarta Restaurant with Indonesian dishes, District Dining with Asian to Western menus, and Kembang Nona, which serves coffee and snacks in a serene green setting.
Aswin Sumampau, President Director of the Taman Safari Indonesia Group, stated that Enchanting Valley in the Megamendung – Puncak Bogor area is expected to become a new family tourism magnet, strengthening Puncak’s position as West Java’s main tourism spot. He detailed, “Spanning 22 hectares, this combination of entertainment, culinary offerings, and modern recreation will increase tourist visits while boosting the local economy through collaboration with local SMEs in the culinary, handicraft, and tourism support services sectors.”
“As part of the celebration series, Enchanting Valley presents the Afternoon Market, held every Friday to Sunday from September to the end of October 2025,” said Allison, General Manager of Enchanting Valley. It offers a variety of culinary delights, crafts, and entertainment with extended operating hours until 7 PM.
