Welcome to a world where education is more than a timetable. At Global Jaya School, the Middle Years Programme (MYP) is designed not only to prepare students for exams, but equip students for life. It encourages strong academic learning, active involvement, meaningful service and healthy friendships. The goal is simple: to foster students who enjoy learning, feel supported and have a strong sense of community. At Global Jaya School, students grow not just as learners, but as confident individuals ready to shape their own future.
Each morning begins with inquiry-based learning. Lessons are structured to help students explore big ideas through questions, discussion and reflection. In subjects such as science and humanities, teachers give students the tools and guidance to understand real-world issues while building important Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills.

These skills help students become more independent by improving organisation, research and self-management. A concept learned in one class, such as communication in language lessons, may appear again in mathematics or the arts, helping students make connections and strengthen their understanding across subjects.
By lunchtime, the campus is a lively hub with a student agency. Students take responsibility for shaping school life. Members of the Student Council organises whole-school initiatives and advocate for their peers, refining leadership and communication skills in authentic contexts.
The Green School Committee leads sustainability projects, ensuring the campus remains environmentally conscious. While others lead Service as Action initiatives, transforming community engagement into tangible impact through environment campaigns and charitable fundraising.
These moments underscore a central ethos that education is not pursued in isolation but as a collaborative endeavor that equips students to contribute meaningfully to the world around them.
Afternoons frequently transition to the FIFA-standard football pitch or the gymnasium, where sport and After-School Activities, from basketball to the performing arts, provide space to decompress, build resilience and form lasting friendships. Physical wellbeing and social connection are valued alongside academic achievement, reflecting a belief that true success lies in balance.
For Year 10 pupils, the day often concludes with progress on the Personal Project, a creative undertaking that demands sustained inquiry and independent thinking, alongside preparation for the MYP e-Assessments. These externally assessed IB digital examinations emphasise real-world application and provide a strong foundation for progression to the Diploma Programme. Even as the formal school day draws to a close, the Global Jaya student remains reflective, principled and internationally minded, prepared for leadership within a global community.

The campus is a welcoming space where families can experience this distinctive energy for themselves and gain a clearer sense of how the MYP journey unfolds within our community.
