For this year’s festive season, The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta has something special in store for its guests: they will take them on a culinary journey across the globe. Titled “Around the world”, the hotel and residence is set to present a variety of flavours from Indonesia to America, followed by an exciting Christmas and New Year’s celebration.

The Sultan will serve dishes from “Around The World” starting from Kambing Guling (Indonesian), Tom Yam (Thai), Pecking Duck (Chinese), various kinds of pasta (Italian) and Roasted Turkey (American/European ) to Shawarma/ Kebab (Mediterranean).

On Christmas Eve, the Dinner Buffet at Lagoon Cafe showcases an array of delectable traditional delights, while diners can also enjoy live band entertainment. The Sultan also serves special Hampers featuring a selection of delicacies including macaroons, chocolate cookies and chocolate pralines, banana bread and ginger cookies, available until 25 December at the Festive Desk at Lagoon Lobby.

To welcome the new year in style, The Lagoon Café is the place to be as The Sultan hosts a gala buffet dinner on New Year’s Eve, special staycation packages, other dining offers as well as DJ and live music performances.

The Christmas staycation at the Sultan is priced at IDR 1.000.000 nett between 22 to 29 December. Guests who book a minimum of three rooms for overnight stay will receive an additional 10 percent discount. The special package for New Year’s – staying in spacious rooms with magnificent city views – costs IDR 2.350.000 nett for overnight on 31 December, which includes lucky draw and breakfast for two on next morning.
