Located on the 65th floor, Artesian Bar is an offshoot of the award-winning bar of the same name at The Langham London, bringing this renowned brand to the heights of Jakarta’s skyscrapers. Though the views across the city skyline are impressive, it’s the design of this sophisticated cocktail lounge that will have patron’s eyes widening as they enter.
Boasting a handsome, Gothic Art Deco aesthetic, the space presents a classical look and feel with its clustering crystal chandeliers, art-lined walls and plush, soft-hued furnishings.
The piece de resistance is the central bar, adorned with an ethereal stained-glass hanging bar depicting vibrant butterflies. It works as the perfect transition to the al-fresco balcony area that bursts with fresh botanicals and plants, completing the Garden of Eden inspiration.
The magic of Artesian Bar lies in its drinks, where the fruits of this forbidden garden are explored. In the venue’s ‘creative lab’, skilled mixologists craft innovative elixirs, channeling the skills of botanists in their creations.
Expanding on the Eden theme the cocktail menu is divided into three distinct sections, or ‘Kingdoms of Life’: “Kingdom of Plants,” “Kingdom of Animals,” and “Kingdom of Humans”. Each category presents a unique interpretation, with botanical-infused concoctions, bold blends inspired by the animal kingdom, and more thought provoking libations that honour the human spirit. It’s a menu that beckons the city’s cocktail connoisseurs, a testament to the artistry and creativity of the Artesian team led by Senior Mixologist, Sufian Mahmoud.

In addition to the exquisite cocktail selection, the food menu offers a tantalising array of tapas delights designed to complement the unique flavours of their signature drinks.
