Archipelago International, Southeast Asia’s largest privately-owned and independent hotel management group, has received the certification on 'Safe Travels' from the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC). The certified status has recognised Archipelago’s commitment to keeping guests and employees safe and healthy by implementing several very effective ‘new normal’ safety standards across all their hotels.

As many people are still having paranoia about traveling again, Archipelago international is openly and undoubtedly welcoming people to stay at their hotels with the certification in hand, ensuring everyone who travels to have a safe experience amidst the ongoing pandemic.

The Covid-19 has hurt the travel industry in the vulnerable stage and ‘Safe Travels’ protocol aims to rebuild guests confidence by bringing together industry leaders and partners to implement the best available guidelines on health and safety.

The hospitality company that owns the properties including ASTON, The Alana, Huxley, Kamuela, Harper, Quest, and NEO will prioritise the health protocols as the warrant for their guests. To avoid the industry from falling to Covid-19, Archipelago International has invested the budget to fulfil the standard for health protocols at each member of the brand.

John Flood, President & CEO of Archipelago International said the company continues to look for innovative and contactless ways to enhance the guest journey and keep everyone safe. From mobile check-in to risk-free dining experiences and more, Archipelago International is making sure that everyone who stays and dines at hotels can have a safe and comfortable time.

“'Following the recent implementation of a large scale Covid-19 rapid test programme for our employees, this is the latest example of being recognised as a safe and trusted hotel. I am delighted to see that our efforts are gaining momentum and that Archipelago International leads the way once again,” Flood said on the press release.
