The modern Asian restaurant Sam’s Wok recently opened its third outlet at Kota Kasablanka, following its success at Sampoerna Strategic Square and Grand Indonesia. With the concept of family dining, the restaurant aims to present a new taste of modern style Asian food by adapting to the rich tradition of Asian herbs.

The dishes at Sam’s Wok are freshly cooked and most are served in generous sharing portions. But the restaurant also offers rice bowl options for office workers who need to grab a quick lunch or dinner.

The menu features some bestselling dishes such as General Tso Chicken, crispy fried yet juicy chicken served in a special homemade sauce that is described as an American-Chinese dish suitable for the Indonesian palate. Other favourites include Chow Mien Chicken, a combination of springy-textured noodles, chicken and vegetables fresh from the wok, and Honey Sesame Chicken.

But there is so much more to choose from: diners at Sam’s Wok should also give other dishes a try, like the Beef Ribs Szechuan Style that hits just the right level of spiciness, the Crispy Beef with Sam’s Wok Special Sauce that turned out to be quite addictive, while Sam’s Wok Special Tofu dressed with minced chicken and egg with house special sauce is also highly recommend.

When you are in the mood to eat healthy and want to get a good taste of Asian herbs, the restaurant offers you red rice, vegetable-based dishes such as XO String Bean and Steam Fish Thai Style seasoned with lime, garlic and coriander, all of which will leave you feeling refreshed and satisfied – and completely guilt-free. And if you are an early riser and happen to take a stroll through the mall on a Sunday morning, the restaurant serves special brunch with dishes including Sizzling Noodle, Sam’s Wok Noodle and Fried Rice.
