From lively weekend brunches to exclusive guest chef dinners, Grand Hyatt is plating a plethora of culinary experiences and programmes for your pleasure this May. The events will take place in four of the five-star hotel’s restaurants from May 2nd until June 2nd 2024. Here’s what you need to know.

C’s Steak and Seafood

On May 2nd 2024, the iconic steakhouse will host the Castello Banfi Tuscan Wine Dinner, a five-course Italian menu with elegant wine pairings. The menu is curated by Chef Marco Pistillo, the Executive Sous Chef at the hotel, and is available for IDR 1,400,000++ per person. Later that week on May 7th, C’s will be home to the Indonesian launch of Il Borro Excellence, a fine wine brand under the management of Salvatorre Ferragamo. Guests are invited to join the Tuscany Uncorked Wine Dinner starting at 7.00 pm for only IDR 2,700,000 nett per person. Lastly, C’s has created their weekly Sparkling Festa Brunch: a Saturday celebration of lavish spreads of premium beef cuts, seafood on ice, and a limoncello shot parade. The brunch is a great way to gather friends and family as it’s only IDR 888,000++ per person, comes with free-flow Prosecco and is accompanied by a live DJ performance.

Fountain Lounge

Livening up the mezzanine level of the Grand Hyatt Jakarta is the Fountain Lounge. Its latest event is happening on May 3rd and 4th, where star bartender Agus Traminto from Alila Villas Uluwatu is taking over the bar and crafting original concoctions with Japanese whisky and gin. Didn’t get a chance to see Agus in action? Kick back with Fountain Lounge’s daily Happy Hour featuring a selection of spirits, wines and martinis. Pop, R&D, and classic beats are on full display Monday to Saturday with the new, international Charm band. Dig into some groovy tunes and juicy bites from 6.30 pm onwards Monday to Thursday and 7.00 pm onwards on Friday and Saturday.

Grand Café

To add to the array of culinary delights, Grand Café is proud to present the Flavours of Thailand event, featuring renowned chefs Takkasit Boonlert and Nuttakorn Promrokul from Park Hyatt Bangkok. From May 15th to May 19th, 2024, guests can indulge in a delectable buffet showcasing iconic Thai dishes such as tom yum goong and pad thai goong, priced at only IDR 460,000++ per person. Additionally, on May 17th, the Thai chefs will conduct an immersive cooking class at The Residence ONFIVE for IDR 460,000++ per person, inclusive of a chef’s hat, apron, e-certificate, and a Grand Hyatt Jakarta notebook.


Sumire invites guests to close the month with the incredible Kaiseki Masterpiece experience by Chef Yoshida from Park Hyatt Tokyo, running from May 27th to June 2nd, 2024. Delight in an exquisite dinner set menu meticulously crafted by the Japanese chef, featuring premium ingredients such as sea urchin, tuna, yellowtail fish, Japanese beef sirloin, and more, all for IDR 1,850,000++ per person.
