Who knew the kids could headline a Bali holiday? At Hard Rock Hotel Bali, the grown-ups might have to compete for the title of having the best time. The Kuta resort has revamped its facilities for younger guests, with three dedicated clubs catering to toddlers, children and teenagers. Each has a different personality, so even siblings with wildly different interests can find something to enjoy.

For the teenagers, Vibe City is probably where the action starts. Open to guests aged 13 to 17, this is a lounge where they can spend an afternoon browsing vinyl, playing DJ or picking up an electric guitar. And if music isn’t quite their thing, there’s always a board game to challenge friends with, alongside PlayStation 5 consoles, classic arcade machines and virtual reality experiences. Vibe City is open daily from 10am to 7pm, with hourly access available.

Vibe City – Teen Club

The 4-to-12 crowd can head straight to Roxity Kids Club, where sitting still is hardly on the agenda. A mini rock climbing wall and ball pit are ready for anyone with energy to spare, while the light-up dance floor is perfect for those who love a bit of a performance. There’s a creative side to the club, with workshops in batik-inspired crafts, bracelet making, mask decorating and painting. And when the kids fancy a quieter activity, they can catch a movie or join a storytelling session. Roxity opens daily from 9am to 6pm, with hourly passes and full-day memberships available. The latter includes lunch, a take-home gift pack and access to the day’s activities.

And for the tiniest travellers, Lullaby Toddlers Club has a cosy corner of its own. Designed for children under four, the space is filled with toys and gentle activities, from sensory play and storytelling to simple hands-on creative sessions. Little ones will need a parent, guardian or nanny by their side throughout their visit. The club is open daily from 9am to 5pm.

One thing is certain, the kids won’t be short of things to talk about when they get home. Whether they leave with a newfound interest in music, a handmade keepsake or stories from their time at the club, the kids will have their own highlights to share when they get home. As General Manager Shane Coates explains, inspiring that sense of wonder is all part of the experience.
