Celebrating its first anniversary on 22 April 2025, ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan held a series of Road to 1st Anniversary events entitled “Gelora, Amplified: The First Chapter of Many.” This initial step was marked by a series of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities leading up to the peak of the anniversary.
“Gelora, Amplified” reflects the experience that ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan wants to provide through useful contributions in this year’s anniversary activities, as a form of gratitude for the support. These keep in line with ARTOTEL Group’s vision and mission: the people which focuses on humanitarian social work, the planet which focuses on nature, and the profit which focuses more on customers.
As a form of social awareness, ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan held a blood donation event titled “A Drop Saves a Life” on 24 February 2025. Employees and hotel guests participated in donating blood at the Citrayuda meeting room of ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan. Collaborating in this event was The Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) Subang, which successfully collected 60 blood bags to be distributed to those in need.
Also, on 11 March 2025, “In Their Fight, We Stand” survivors talks and iftar were held at the hotel with the Indonesian Childhood Cancer Foundation. Presenting were four speakers who shared the stories of their fight against cancer: Keyra Saski Muiz (Leukemia Cancer Survivor), Fajri Fadillah (Blood Cancer Survivor), Peggy Amelia Nuraga and Ria Rosalia (mothers of Leukemia Cancer Survivors).
Moreover, “Plant Mangroves Now, Green Future”, on 20 March 2025 involved a mangrove seedling planting, in conjunction with the Mangrove Indonesia Lestari Foundation community at the PIK Mangrove Ecotourism, Jakarta. Welcoming the event were 40 mangrove seedlings to be planted directly, as a form of care to preserve a sustainable ecosystem for the environment.
Furthermore, 22 March 2025 marks the EARTH Hour event, in collaboration with Earth Hour Jakarta. Taking the theme of “Biggest Hour for Earth” this year, the lights will be turned off for one full hour from 8.30PM to 9.30PM simultaneously worldwide. ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan invites guests to participate in the hourlong event by lighting candles together in the hotel lobby.
In addition, the “Jogging and Plogging” event will take place on 12 April 2025: an exercise activity with the aim of contributing through sports while collecting garbage around the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium ring road area. 150 participants are set to take part alongside the Gofit community, who will guide the event in the BLU Zone area.
Other activities include Friday blessings during Ramadan, such as free food distribution around the ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan – Jakarta neighbourhood, and a competition between hotel property units in Jakarta and surrounding areas.
