JW Marriott Hotel Surabaya’s “Romance In The City Wedding Fair” has come to a close, leaving countless memories and happy couples in its wake. The luxurious wedding event was held on 25 & 26 March 2023, with over 55 professional wedding vendors in attendance, ready to help couples orchestrate their dream wedding.
Located in the heart of the most romantic city in Indonesia, Surabaya, the Royal Ballroom at JW Marriott Hotel Surabaya was transformed into an aesthetic garden, complete with nature-themed installations and breathtaking floral arrangements. Lovebirds were able to leisurely explore the ballroom’s four sections, each with its own unique theme and design, created by different organisers.
The organisers that participated in the fair include Project Art Plus and PF Decoration, who showcases their concept of ‘Intuition’, featuring magical touches of hanging green, delicate whites and a touch of glass; Poetyque Events & Steve’s Decor, who presented an innovative marriage of elegant Japanese zen garden with modern, minimalistic design elements; Majestic and Daydreaming Works, displaying their open-museum themed art exhibition which was inspired by the historic renaissance era; and Fairy tale Organizer & Sion Décor, with their ‘Blanc de Noir’ theme featuring warm peaches, terracotta and brown embellishments.
The event was enhanced by beautiful neo-classical acoustic music from Jam or Jet! and Seraphim Orchestra. Live shows were also hosted on Instagram every day, where vendors discussed current food and wedding trends of 2023, providing guests with a spark of on-the-go inspiration during their planning.
Lucky couples were also given the chance to win prizes, including a pair of limited edition Manolo Blahnik Lurum 90 satin heels in cream and a B-Buckle belt from Voila, 20 vouchers for a luxurious stay and dine-in for two at JW Marriott Hotel Surabaya, and a grand prize of a three-day and two-night journey from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur on a lavish Resort World Cruise worth IDR 90 million, among others.
