Ascott Indonesia brought ASR Festival back to Jakarta in early June, where visitors could discover travel offers, family-friendly activities, entertainment, and sustainability-focused programmes in one place.

Returning for its fourth edition from 3 to 7 June 2026, ASR Festival carried the theme “Beyond the Stay” while commemorating Ascott’s “30 & Beyond” milestone, celebrating three decades in Indonesia. More than 7,000 visitors attended throughout the festival, reflecting growing interest in travel-focused events that offer something for all ages.

Visitors explored exclusive offers across Ascott Indonesia’s portfolio, covering hotel stays, dining experiences, weddings, meetings, and social events. The festival also provided an opportunity to discover the group’s diverse collection of brands, including Ascott, Citadines, lyf, Somerset, Oakwood, Vertu Hotels, Harris Hotels, Fox Hotels, Yello Hotels, Pop! Hotels, and several destination resorts across Indonesia.

The festival experience was not limited to travel offers. Throughout the week, visitors enjoyed cooking demonstrations, cultural activities inspired by Indonesian heritage, lifestyle talks, and family-friendly entertainment. One of the highlights was the return of Discover the Star, a singing competition that gave young performers the chance to showcase their talents on stage.

Sustainability also played an important role in this year’s programme. In conjunction with World Environment Day on 5 June, Ascott Indonesia hosted a discussion on mangrove conservation, highlighting the environmental and social value of mangrove ecosystems. The session formed part of Ascott CARES, the company’s sustainability programme focused on responsible hospitality and community impact. For every stay voucher purchased during the festival, Ascott Indonesia pledged three mangrove seedlings to be planted in collaboration with Mangrove Jakarta. The initiative resulted in more than 5,000 mangrove seedlings being pledged by the end of the festival.

While the festival has concluded, the momentum continues through the ASR Online Sale, available until 15 June 2026. Guests can enjoy savings of up to 40 percent at participating Ascott properties across Indonesia, with stays valid through 28 February 2027.

The festival also welcomed hundreds of new members to Ascott Star Rewards (ASR), the group’s loyalty programme that offers member-exclusive rates, reward points, and additional benefits across Ascott’s global network.
