For many parents, choosing a school comes down to a few practical questions: how learning is organised, whether the environment feels safe and consistent, and if their child will be understood as an individual. At Sinarmas World Academy (SWA), the approach is shaped around these priorities, with a structured academic pathway delivered within an international setting, clear expectations, and a strong emphasis on student responsibility.
Located in BSD City, the campus sits within a green, low-rise environment with open spaces, trees, and modern facilities. It is a setting designed to help students concentrate, move between classes easily, and feel settled over long school days.
Learning at SWA is planned with continuity across year levels. Lessons build progressively, and students learn alongside peers from more than 15 nationalities, bringing different perspectives into daily discussions while reinforcing shared standards for behaviour and collaboration.
Classroom learning is closely linked to application. Student-led initiatives such as The Lighthouse Lounge illustrate this approach. Organised and managed by students, the art auction raised IDR 50 million in a single day for recovery efforts in Sumatra. The project required planning, teamwork, and accountability, reinforcing skills that extend beyond formal assessment.
Supporting different strengths is central to how learning is structured. SWA uses the BEST Pathways® framework to help students identify interests, set goals, and make informed choices as they progress through school. This gives teachers a clear structure for guidance while allowing students to explore academic, creative, and technical areas where they show potential.

Engagement is expected across both lessons and co-curricular activities, as it can be seen through SWA RoboKnights team’s performance at the World Robot Olympiad International Final 2025 in Singapore. Representing Indonesia, students Audric, Carlos, and Kate earned three gold medals and the Start-Up Award for LUMA, an AI-powered headset designed to convert EEG and blink signals into speech. The project combined technical skill, problem-solving, and empathy, linking classroom learning to real-world relevance.
SWA alumni have progressed to universities such as Oxford and Harvard, while others have pursued entrepreneurial paths, including launching food brands like Bread Mood and Lou Patisserie. These different outcomes reflect a common foundation of the school, that students graduate with direction and confidence.
For families who value clear learning pathways, a supportive environment, and a strong sense of community, it is time to consider Sinarmas World Academy.
