In a constantly changing world where many future jobs don’t even exist yet, the true success that parents want for their children isn't easily definable. At Sekolah Pelita Harapan (SPH) Kemang Village, the belief is that it’s not only about "working hard," but also about cultivating rigor in learning.

In a constantly changing world where many future jobs don’t even exist yet, the true success that parents want for their children isn’t easily definable. At Sekolah Pelita Harapan (SPH) Kemang Village, the belief is that it’s not only about “working hard,” but also about cultivating rigor in learning.

Rigorous learning isn’t just a jam-packed schedule or difficult exams. It’s an approach that combines high expectations with optimal learning support, which challenges students to think critically, apply knowledge innovatively, and embrace challenges confidently. For SPH Kemang Village, rigor is based on two essentials: Relevance and Relationship.

Relevance involves students seeing how connected learning is to their lives and the world around them. They are encouraged to solve real problems, make significant links across subjects, and apply their knowledge past the classroom, thus making leaning practical, powerful, and purposeful: impactful.

Relationship indicates that students thrive when they feel safe, supported, and known, which is where the teachers come in. Beyond being educators, they are mentors who walk alongside students, build trust and character, nurture curiosity, and inspire them to take risks beyond textbooks. Thanks to student-centred facilities and a supportive learning environment as well, students are guided to discover their talents and equipped to live with purpose.

SPH Kemang Village confidently believes education flourishes through collaboration, and values parents as partners in this journey. As a Christian school, Christ is at the centre, empowering students to acquire knowledge as well as to apply it, therefore impacting their communities and the world.

The upcoming Open Day on 16-18 October 2025 invites families to come join, where they can give their children more than an education: a foundation for a life of faith, purpose and impact.
