When the tournament was first introduced in 2015, it took the form of a one-day golf play-offs which took place only in Singapore. This year, the signature golf event is extended to other Southeast Asia cities, with Indonesia included. The gameplay requires a team of 12 players to be formed for each country, selected across three qualifying rounds leading up to the finals in end of August.
