ACS Jakarta has announced the upcoming opening of its West Campus in BSD City in July 2026, signifying a major step in the school’s dedication to providing world-class education and a nurturing environment.
Established in Indonesia in 1996, ACS Jakarta is part of the Anglo-Chinese School system, renowned for academic excellence and a holistic approach that integrates best practices from Singapore, the UK, and the US including Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. ACS Jakarta students consistently achieve high academic standards, with alumni attending top global universities.
Beyond academics, ACS Jakarta emphasizes character development through devotions, service learning, and a diverse CCA program in sports, arts, clubs, and leadership, nurturing faith, integrity, leadership, and service. With over 1,000 students and 125 teachers of over 15 nationalities, ACS Jakarta fosters a diverse international community.
Inspired by Matthew 5:14–16, the West Campus aims to be a “beacon of light and excellence,” fostering students’ intellectual and emotional growth into responsible global citizens. To celebrate the announcement, a ceremony on the nearly 5-hectare site took place on 29 November 2024, officiated by Chairman of the ACS Jakarta Board of Management, Dr. Mucki Tan. Executive Principal Dr. Lee Khen Seng highlighted the commitment to holistic development, encompassing academics, sports, arts, community service, and extracurricular activities.
The West Campus will feature top-tier athletic facilities including an Olympic-sized swimming pool, FIFA-standard football field with a running track, a fully equipped gym with a rock-climbing wall, multi-purpose sports halls and padel courts. Moreover, it boasts a professional grade performing arts theatre, dedicated art and music rooms, advanced science laboratories, and well-stocked libraries.
Located near ICE BSD City in partnership with Sinar Mas Land, the West Campus is designed for academic and spiritual growth, aspiring to be a center for innovation. With an Open House there on 9 August 2025, ACS Jakarta invites community involvement and reaffirms its mission to shape young minds and hearts for a successful future.
