Led by Director of Culinary, Chef Olivier Piganiol — a French native — the event welcomed select food-focused media for a taste of the restaurant’s new direction. It marks the first in a series of PR activations to introduce the new Blue Terrace to Jakarta’s discerning dining audience.

Set within the stylish surroundings of AYANA Midplaza Jakarta, the reimagined Blue Terrace invites guests to enjoy timeless French classics in a relaxed yet refined setting. Blending Parisian bistro charm with Jakarta’s modern sophistication, the restaurant offers a warm and approachable dining experience — perfect for business lunches, leisurely brunches, or intimate dinners with friends.

Signature dishes presented during the luncheon include house-smoked Saumon Fumé Maison salmon, cheese-filled Raviole du Dauphiné, and rich crayfish Gratin de Queues d’Écrevisses de Fernand Point, along with classic Soupe à l’Oignon Gratinée. In addition, roasted Cabillaud rôti with Chorizo et Parmesan crumbs, profiteroles with Ambon vanilla ice cream and Jembrana chocolate sauce, and refreshing Blanc Manger à la Mangue top off the offerings.

Chef Olivier Piganiol shared his inspiration behind the transformation “At Blue Terrace, we are bringing the essence of French dining to Jakarta — it’s about honest flavors, relaxed hospitality, and food that tells a story. This bistro concept is deeply personal to me; it reflects the meals I grew up with in France, reimagined for the modern urban diner.”
