Revered as Spain’s most iconic communal dish, the dish is given a refresh that offers Jakarta diners an experience that blends tradition, artistry, and warmth.
Originally cooked by farmers in Valencia during the mid-19th century over an open fire, combining rice with available fresh ingredients, paella quickly grew into a symbol of family gatherings and regional pride. The name was derived from the wide, shallow pan in which it is cooked, allowing rice to absorb layers of flavor while forming the prized socarrat, the caramelized crust at the bottom.
Today, paella is synonymous with festivity and togetherness, often shared among friends and family. At ERRE & Urrechu Jakarta, this Spanish classic is honored with modern creativity, premium ingredients, and an unwavering commitment to authenticity.




As part of this launch, ERRE & Urrechu Jakarta introduces three one-of-a-kind paella creations. Crafted for sharing, these paellas are designed to bring people together over bold flavors, premium ingredients, and the soulful essence of Spanish dining.
Arroz Meloso De Setas Con Trufa Negra Y Queso Manchego is earthy elegance in every spoonful of creamy rice with wild mushroom, black truffle and Manchego snow. A comforting dish layered with umami and aroma, it costs IDR 550,000++ for a minimum of 2 persons.
Paella De Mariscos Con Lomos De Pargo Rojo Soasados Y Alioli De Gambas features golden seafood paella, rich with Mediterranean spices, crowned and flame-seared red snapper and prawn aioli. Priced at IDR 750,000++ for a minimum of 2 persons, it is the taste of Spain’s coastal soul.
Paella De Erretxuleta A la Parrilla Con Alioli De Tuetano Y Chips De Ajo promises smoky indulgence from land and fire; grilled 250 grams of txuleta steak paella, finished with a bone marrow aioli and garlic chips. The bold, meaty twist on a Spanish classic is worth the IDR 1,350,000++ for a minimum of 2 persons.
