The Jakarta Concert Orchestra – with Avip Priatna as conductor and featuring Ania Druml (Austria) on cello – will once again present works from the 19th century in A Symphony of Emotions: Joy & Sorrow.
These range from the joyous Overture of *Die Fledermaus by Strauss II, to the warmth and longing of Cello Concerto by Dvořák, to the depths of the soul of Symphony No. 6 “Pathétique” by Tchaikovsky.
Set at the Kertanegara Recital Hall on Jl. Kertanegara No. 28 in Kebayoran Baru, the date of the concert will be Saturday, 11 October 2025, taking place at 7.30 PM. Tickets will be priced into 4 categories: Diamond (IDR 600,000), Ruby (IDR 500,000), Sapphire (IDR 400,000) and Emerald (IDR 300,000).
Ready to set South Jakarta alight, brought to you by the Jakarta Concert Orchestra, A Symphony of Emotions: Joy & Sorrow exemplifies in full the iconic Hans Christian Andersen quote: “Where words fail, music speaks.”
