Menus at Tom’s by Tom Aikens

Indonesia Restaurant Week 2025 marks a nationwide celebration of taste, talent, and tradition, this is the stage where the country’s most distinguished dining destinations come together under the banner of Wonderful Indonesia Gourmet (WIG).  Organised by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy in collaboration with Mastercard’s Priceless platform, the programme champions gastronomy as a cornerstone of tourism and cultural identity. This year’s edition, taking place from 11 to 17 October across Jakarta and Bali, invites diners to experience what makes Indonesia’s culinary landscape truly world-class.

In harmony with this vision, The Langham, Jakarta brings its signature blend of craftsmanship and creativity to the table. Known for redefining luxury hospitality through design, service, and gastronomy, the hotel’s participation reflects a shared belief in dining as an art form that connects people through experience and emotion. The Langham’s collaboration with renowned British chef Tom Aikens offers a fitting tribute to the spirit of Indonesia Restaurant Week, presenting menus that merge global sophistication with local appreciation for quality and detail.

At Tom’s by Tom Aikens, guests can embark on a four-course Chef’s Table journey that reflects the restaurant’s commitment to refined simplicity and balance. The menu begins with Smoked Beef Arancini, combining crisp texture and deep flavour, followed by the signature Charcoaled USDA Prime Tenderloin, grilled to perfection and complemented by seasonal accompaniments that highlight the quality of the produce.

The meal concludes with a reimagined Eton Mess, a nod to classic British desserts presented with a modern touch. Priced at IDR 1,488,000++ per person (food only), the experience can be enhanced with an optional beverage pairing at IDR 488,000++ served tableside from the trolley.

Meanwhile, ALICE by Tom Aikens presents a Parisian-inspired three-course menu that balances familiarity and finesse through classic French flavours. The menu features Boeuf Bourguignon, a slow-cooked beef dish rich in depth and tenderness, and Dorade Rouge Meuniere, a delicate red snapper fillet lightly pan-seared in butter and lemon, served with aromatic rice. To end, the Profiteroles au Chocolat offers a timeless finale, combining crisp choux pastry, smooth vanilla cream, and warm chocolate sauce. This experience is priced at IDR 888,000++ per person (food only) and includes an optional beverage pairing available for both lunch and dinner.

“The Langham, Jakarta is honoured to take part in Indonesia Restaurant Week, a meaningful initiative that celebrates the creativity, craftsmanship, and hospitality that define Indonesia’s culinary scene,” said Alexander Poindl, General Manager of The Langham, Jakarta. “Through this collaboration, we aim to share the artistry of Tom Aikens’ cuisine and support Indonesia’s growing reputation as one of Asia’s most exciting dining destinations.”
